This Emmy nominated visual effects shot for Better Call Saul Episode 208 “Fiﬁ” was inspired by the celebrated opening tracking [3 minutes 20 seconds] shot to Orson Welles’ Touch of Evil 
The clip begins with the as broadcast shot followed by a before and after visual effects breakdown at the 4:24 mark.
The running time of this seamless extended “single take” is 4 minutes 22 seconds [6,300 frames] and required 1,308 compositing layers for techniques including 3D digital elements and animation, matte paintings, and extensive rotoscope.
