Visual effects reel breakdown (how- to) of the film “The Secret of their Eyes” (2009).
It is a selection of the best invisible vfx we have done. We made historical recreation of several neighborhood of Buenos Aires. We digitally rebuilt over actual locations the 1974 versions.
Note: we have excluded the money shot (extended vfx shot of Huracan Stadium) for another breakdown because of the huge work involved that you may see in deatils among our videos list.

VFX Breakdown
ONER Vfx
The Secret in their Eyes shows our talent to the world. Particularly through the money-shot extended sequence also known as: the Huracán ONER SHOT.
This is the full length vfx breakdown (how- to) of this first Argentinean vfx extended one shot. It is an extended shot of five minutes and a half starting from an aerial view until a close-up of the main actor among a crew of people jumping in the stands of the Huracan soccer stadium. It was the first implementation of massive software technology in an Argentinean film production. The production took place at 100Bares production company where Rodrigo Tomasso, as partner of Juan José Campanella, founded and led the Visual Effects Department since 2006 until October 2009.
